R2 Red filters are ideal for increasing contrast in black and white images.
This filter will absorb green and blue completely and enhances red colours.
In addition to contrast control, red filters can enhance skin tones and create more dramatic landscapes.

– Clouds are dramatically improved almost to the mood of a thunderstorm.

– Also well suited for infrared photography, as this filter will block nearly all of the light below 650mn, allowing only the red colours through.
