    AERO 100 35mm

Introducing AERO 100! A beautiful fine-grain C41 colour film, AERO produces rich reds and greens and features a versatile exposure latitude. Originally designed for industrial use aerial photography, this impressive film has been expertly rolled into 35mm cannisters for everyday still photography use. This is the same film you may have seen sold elsewhere as Santacolor or Elektra, containing Eastman Kodak Aerocolor IV 2460. Great value at just $19 per roll, all 36exp. - 35mm colour film - 100 ISO - No DX Code. (most point and shoot cameras will default to 100iso when no DX code is present) - 36 exposures per roll - Film manufactured in USA - Environmentally friendly recycled metal cannisters - Can also be processed under E6 process to produce nice positive slides. This product is in no way endorsed, packaged, distributed, guaranteed or sold by Eastman Kodak or Kodak Alaris. Please remember! This is a hand-rolled film. Unlike film manufactured and packaged in commercial large-volume factories, this hand-rolling process is not immune to imperfections. Some rolls may have a few small light leaks showing on some frames after they have been developed. Sometimes this is due to quirks in the rolling process, and other times it is due to imperfections in the recycled 35mm cannisters that are used, which can cause light-leakage into the cannister over time. If you are using a point and shoot camera with a clear 'film-view window' on the back, we suggest you cover it up with  a small piece of black tape to minimise any light leaks whilst the film is being shot. Like some other films, AERO is particularly susceptible to light leakage through the film leader and cannister opening. We recommend you keep your AERO rolls somewhere dark, out of the sun, to minimise light leakage into the cannister, and have your film processed promptly after shooting.

    Ferrania P30 80ISO 35mm

The legendary Ferrania P30 is now available! The Italian masters of the mid-20th century - film directors like Pier Paolo Pasolini, Vittorio De Sica, Roberto Rossellini, and Federico Fellini - created many of their most iconic films on P30 stock. The look of P30 in cinema became so popular that in 1958, a version was created for still photography. Ferrania P30 is newly manufactured film - not rebranded stock. It is proudly made in the reimagined factory on the grounds of the original Ferrania company, in Cairo Montenotte, Italy. Each roll of this 80iso black and white film features a high silver content, providing high-contrast negatives with almost no visible grain. Shadows are deep and rich. KROME 100 E6 35mm

Introducing KROME 100! Want to try shooting colour-positive slide film but don't want to break the bank? KROME is your friend! Known for it's extremely fine grain, vibrant colours and superb detail in both shadows & highlights, Ektachrome 100 is one of the most iconic film stocks available today. Give it a try at an affordable price with WALKENS' hand-rolled KROME 100, cut from bulk rolls of Ektachrome 100 5294, direct from Eastman Kodak. Please note this film requires E6 developing - available at WALKENS House of Film. We recommend you keep your KROME rolls somewhere dark, out of the sun, to minimise light leakage into the cannister, and have your film processed promptly after shooting.

    SPEED 400 35mm

Introducing SPEED 400 from WALKENS! Until recently, speeding and red light traffic cameras in the State of Victoria were run using film! They've now gone digital and we have the last remaining film that was manufactured for use in these road-side cameras. A medium speed 400iso C41 colour film, SPEED 400 features a classic medium grain size and produces a warm palette with rich reds and accurate skin tones. A unique emulsion, made by AGFA in Belgium, this film is no longer manufactured and this may well be the last available. Great value at just $20 per roll, all 36exp and DX-Coded. - 35mm colour film - 400 iso - 36 exposures per roll - Film manufactured in Belgium - Environmentally friendly recycled metal cannisters - DX coded for 400iso 36exp. Please remember! This is a hand-rolled limited edition film. Unlike film manufactured and packaged in commercial large-volume factories, this hand-rolling process is not immune to imperfections and occasionally small light leaks. It's also wise to keep your SPEED rolls somewhere dark, out of the sun, to minimise light leakage into the cannister, and have your film processed promptly after shooting. For these reasons, we don't recommend shooting important events like weddings etc on SPEED. Try something mass-produced like Portra 400 instead!

    Ferrania Orto 50 35mm

Ferrania Orto is P30's quirky cousin and features the same high silver content, inherently strong contrast and practically invisible grain as P30 - but this time, distinctly ortochromatico. In the earliest days of silent cinema, film stock was blue-sensitive or orthochromatic. Hollywood relied on cosmetics as a “corrective” for on-screen actors. One hundred years later, the very “flaws” that plagued our predecessors are now the creative features that distinguish orthochromatic films today. Most modern black and white films are panchromatic. Orthochromatic films are primarily sensitive to blue and to a lesser extent, green light. This means that red and orange colours will be reproduced in darker tones with stronger contrast compared to a regular panchromatic film, giving a distinct orthochromatic look! Ferrania Orto is newly manufactured film - not rebranded stock. It is proudly made in the reimagined factory on the grounds of the original Ferrania company, in Cairo Montenotte, Italy. - 36 exposures per roll - 50ISO black and white film - Made in Italy - Very smooth, barely visible grain - High contrast - Freshly made, direct from the Ferrania factory.

    Ilford Ortho+ 80 35mm

Ortho+ 80 is a new Orthochromatic black and white film from Ilford in the UK. Ideally suited for landscape photography, the blue and green sensitivity of this emulsion enables the film to be handled in deep red* safelight conditions making processing and inspection easier. Its lack of red sensitivity also means that reds and oranges in your frame are rendered darker with stronger contrast than standard panchromatic films (all other ILFORD films are panchromatic). Ilford recommend exposing at 80iso in daylight conditions or at 40iso under tungsten lighting. - 36 Exposures per roll - Orthochromatic black and white film - Process in normal black and white chemicals. - Fine grain & high sharpness - Made in the UK.
